Nizam is a smart community management platform. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. We process all deletion requests within 7 working days.
1. How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Nizam account and all associated data, please send an email to:

- Your registered phone number
- Your full name
- The name of your complex (if applicable)
- Your role (Management / Resident)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account security.
2. Processing Time
Once we receive and verify your deletion request, we will permanently delete your account and associated data within 7 working days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
Account deletion is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have exported any information you wish to keep before submitting your request.
3. For Management / Admin Users
If you are a management user, complex administrator, or super admin on the Nizam platform, deleting your account will also permanently delete all data associated with the complexes you manage. This includes:
- Complex profile: complex name, address, type, maintenance settings, and configuration
- Unit records: all unit details, floor plans, category definitions, and charge configurations
- Resident data: all resident profiles, occupancy records, and contact information linked to your complexes
- Payment & billing records: maintenance bills, collection history, payment receipts, outstanding dues, and financial reports
- Committee data: committee member profiles, roles, and permissions
- Transfer & clearance records: all transfer requests, clearance certificates, and related documents
- Notifications & notices: past announcements, alerts, and SOS history
- Vehicles: vehicle registration data linked to units in your complexes
- Subscription & billing info: your plan details, trial history, and payment records with Nizam Technologies
Important: This action will affect all residents and units under your management. If your complex has multiple administrators, consider transferring ownership to another admin before deleting your account. If you are the sole admin, all complex data will be permanently removed.
4. For Resident Users
If you are a resident user, deleting your account will remove your personal data from the Nizam platform. This includes:
- Your profile: name, phone number, email, and profile picture
- Occupancy records: your unit assignment, move-in date, and occupancy status
- Vehicle data: car and bike registration numbers linked to your profile
- Payment history: your individual maintenance payments, receipts, and dues
- Notifications: alerts and messages sent to you
- SOS alerts: any emergency alerts you initiated
- App preferences: theme settings, language preferences, and notification settings
Note: Some of your activity may remain visible in anonymised form within complex-wide reports (for example, "Unit 101 paid maintenance in March 2026") to preserve the financial integrity of the complex records. Your personally identifiable information will be removed from these records.
5. Data We Retain
Even after account deletion, we may retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or security purposes:
- Legal compliance: transaction records and billing information required by tax and financial regulations (retained for the period mandated by Pakistani law).
- Fraud prevention: minimal technical logs (IP addresses, timestamps) retained for up to 90 days to prevent abuse.
- Anonymised analytics: aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
Once the legally required retention period expires, this data is also permanently deleted.
6. Before You Delete
We recommend taking the following steps before requesting account deletion:
- Export your data: Save any payment receipts, maintenance history, or documents you may need in the future.
- Notify your complex: If you are an admin, inform your committee or residents about the upcoming deletion and appoint a new admin.
- Settle outstanding dues: Ensure all financial matters are resolved before deleting your account.
- Cancel subscriptions: If you have an active paid plan, cancellation will be processed automatically upon deletion.
